Job summary

Worldpac, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Service Engineer to own complex Level 2 desktop, mobility, and device support. You will mentor engineers, contribute to MDM standards, and serve as a trusted technical resource during outages and escalations.

The role requires deep Windows and MacOS expertise, Active Directory and M365 proficiency, and hands-on MDM experience (42Gears, Intune, Addigy). You will help rollout device programs and improve support processes.

Qualifications

Minimum 8+ years in IT support, desktop engineering, or infrastructure roles.
Associate's degree or coursework in IT/CS or related field.
Strong Windows OS administration and MacOS knowledge.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory and M365 in a Level 2 capacity.
Advanced experience with MDM platforms (42Gears, Intune, Addigy).
Hands-on experience with Zebra RF/handheld devices (TC77/78, TC8000/8300, MC9300).
Strong networking fundamentals (Wi‑Fi, VPN, TCP/IP) and fault diagnosis.
Experience as a technical escalation point across Infrastructure teams.
Experience leading technical projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication; strong documentation.
ITIL/ITSM familiarity and relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Own resolution of the most complex desktop and endpoint issues across Windows and Mac environments.
Lead or support imaging, configuration, and deployment standards for PCs, laptops, and mobile devices.
Serve as a point of escalation for unresolved desktop issues.
Lead in administering and troubleshooting MDM platforms (42Gears, Intune, Addigy).
Contribute to device enrollment, imaging, policy standards, and evaluate new devices/MDM features.
Provide advanced troubleshooting for fleet issues across sites/users.
Perform advanced network troubleshooting and assist Network during outages.
Participate in outage response with Network, Voice, and Compute teams.
Support post-incident documentation and preventive measures.
Contribute to technical standards, SOPs, and desktop/device support docs.
Support rollout of new branch/DC systems, hardware refresh, and migrations.
Identify opportunities to improve support processes and reduce recurring issues.
