LaSalle Network is partnering with our client to hire an IT Service Desk Lead in Arlington, VA. The role will run day-to-day Tier 1-3 service desk operations and act as a hands-on escalation point across a secure Microsoft government cloud environment.

This contract opportunity emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and audit readiness, including CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and DoD IL4/IL5, with deep administration of Microsoft 365 GCC High and Azure Government.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT experience preferred (leadership/managerial experience a must)
• Experience managing Tier 1-3 service desk operations
• Hands-on administration of Microsoft 365 GCC High and Azure Government

Responsibilities

• Lead service desk operations (Tier 1-3), including ticket triage, escalation and timely resolution
• Coach and manage service desk staff; foster accountability and continuous improvement
• Serve as hands-on admin/technical escalation for Microsoft 365 GCC High and Azure Government environments
• Support compliance requirements and audit readiness for CMMC, NIST SP 800-171 and DoD IL4/IL5
• Improve processes and documentation, reduce reliance on external MSPs where appropriate
