Job summary

AFLAC, INCORPORATED. is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to design and execute manual and automated tests, ensuring quality across the SDLC. This role supports both hybrid in-office and remote work within the continental US, with travel as needed.

You will develop test cases from use cases and epics, review data, manage defects, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with engineering and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field is required.
• 4+ years of experience in test automation and software testing or related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, reviews, and maintains test cases from use cases and epics, technical specifications, and other sources.
• Participates in test case reviews with teammates and technical resources.
• Builds and reviews test data to support test efforts.
• Creates and maintains test cases for functional, system integration, and regression testing.
• Manages and tracks defects and triage root causes with QA and developers.
• Investigates software problems and helps create solutions.
• Executes test scripts, communicates results, and maintains documentation.
• Manages test environments and lab configurations to ensure correct versions.
• Creates, executes, and maintains automated test cases per team expectations.
• Performs activities to meet DSDF compliance requirements.
• Reviews existing test cases for redundancy or obsolescence.
• Mentors junior team members through project tasks.
