Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions validating software functionality, performance, and security. This largely remote role may require visits to client locations in the DMV area.

You will shift manual testing to scalable automated tests integrated into the deployment pipeline, collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA teammates to ensure high quality releases.

Qualifications

• 4 years of QA experience
• Experience with automation
• Experience with back-end, front-end, and API testing

Responsibilities

• Design and write maintainable automated test scripts for web applications and backend APIs.
• Build and scale robust automation frameworks to increase code coverage.
• Analyze requirements and user stories to create detailed end-to-end test plans.
• Execute regression, functional, and smoke tests prior to major production releases.
• Identify, log, and track defects with reproduction steps and severity.
• Isolate and troubleshoot test failures to determine source of issues.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and stand-ups.
