Job summary

Frontline is seeking an experienced engineer to lead client infrastructure projects end to end—from scoping with our vCIO team through project planning, hands-on execution, and sign-off with the client.

This on-site role in the Los Angeles area requires 5+ years in systems or network engineering, deep Windows Server/Active Directory expertise, Hyper-V or VMware, and Microsoft 365 administration, plus firewall and switching experience and willingness to travel to client sites across LA County.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems or network engineering
• Track record of leading infrastructure projects from plan to completion
• Deep hands-on experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange Online and SharePoint migrations, Intune/Autopilot
• Comfortable supporting macOS alongside Windows
• Firewall and switching configuration experience (Fortinet preferred) including VLANs and VPNs
• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
• Availability for evening or weekend maintenance windows

Responsibilities

• Lead client infrastructure projects end to end—from scoping with our vCIO team through project planning and hands-on execution
• Communicate with clients from kickoff through sign-off; act as L3 escalation point for service desk
