Varsity Technologies, part of Treeline, seeks a Client Engineer for hybrid work in the Los Angeles area. You will handle escalations, perform remote and onsite support, and build client relationships in person across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years IT support in managed services.
• LA metro area location with valid driver’s license.
• Strong M365 admin experience: Exchange/SharePoint/Teams/Entra ID.
• Advanced macOS support including security and deployment.
• Experience troubleshooting DNS/DHCP/VPN/firewalls.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools (Copilot/Gemini/ChatGPT/Claude).
• Proficiency with RMM and PSA platforms; quick learner of tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive and resolve escalations from Specialist I and own them end-to-end.
• Assess remote vs onsite needs and communicate scope/timelines.
• Travel to client sites in the LA area for hands-on deployment and issue resolution.
• Adapt communication style to executives and end users.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure-level issues including M365 config and networking.
• Manage tasks across Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID/AAD.
• Provide advanced macOS support including MDM, Apple Business Manager, and iOS/iCloud integration.
• Coordinate with network vendors for DNS/DHCP/VPN/firewall issues.
• Support clients using AI platforms (Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude).
• Document resolutions and create reusable knowledge for future issues.
