Job summary

Trillium Professional is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager / Future Enterprise PMO Lead for a long-term, hybrid position in Vermont. The role is onsite two days per week and is a six-month temp-to-perm opportunity with pay around $150,000 annually.

The successful candidate will guide key transformation initiatives, mentor teams, and help establish an Enterprise PMO planned for late 2026 or early 2027, balancing hands-on delivery with building governance and portfolio prioritization.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering IT and business transformation projects.
• Mentor, coach, and influence cross-functional teams.
• Establishing or improving PMO practices and project governance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Balance hands-on delivery with developing an enterprise PMO.
• M&A integration experience preferred.
• Experience with Agile, traditional, or blended delivery methods.
• PMP or related certification a plus.
• Availability to work onsite in Vermont several days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology and business transformation projects from planning through implementation.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies.
• Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and vendors to define requirements and deliver results.
• Provide clear project updates, accelerate issues, and resolve barriers to delivery.
• Mentor and coach colleagues to strengthen project management capabilities.
• Help establish practical project management standards, governance, reporting, and portfolio prioritization.
• Support merger and acquisition integration initiatives as needed.
• Coordinate change management, stakeholder communication, and operational handoffs.
