Qualifications

Tier4 Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager, Enterprise Transformation & Strategic Initiatives to lead high-impact projects spanning business operations, technology, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

This is not a traditional IT Project Manager role. The ideal candidate has successfully led both technical and non-technical business initiatives, possesses exceptional stakeholder management skills, and has a proven track record of delivering complex enterprise projects from strategy and planning through implementation and operational transition.

This individual will partner closely with business leaders, technology teams, and executive stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives that create measurable business value and support organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Leadership

• Personally own and lead multiple complex enterprise initiatives from initiation through planning, execution, implementation, and post-launch support.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, budgets, and success metrics.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Manage project interdependencies across departments, teams, and business functions.
• Establish accountability and drive execution among project teams and stakeholders.
• Provide consistent leadership throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful business outcomes.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead cross-functional teams consisting of technical resources, business stakeholders, vendors, and executive sponsors.
• Act as a trusted partner between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• Collaborate across Operations, Technology, Finance, HR, Marketing, and other business functions.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
• Facilitate decision-making, resolve obstacles, and drive project momentum.

Program & Portfolio Coordination

• Manage multiple concurrent projects and workstreams with varying priorities and levels of complexity.
• Coordinate resources, schedules, deliverables, communications, and dependencies across initiatives.
• Prepare and present executive-level project updates, dashboards, and status reports.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Escalate concerns appropriately while maintaining project progress and stakeholder alignment.

Project Delivery & Governance

• Utilize Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies based on project needs and organizational requirements.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support business teams in adopting Agile practices where appropriate.
• Drive project governance, reporting standards, and delivery best practices.
• Promote continuous improvement across project management processes and frameworks.
• Ensure effective project controls, documentation, and change management practices are in place.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated success personally owning projects from initiation, planning, requirements gathering, execution, implementation, and operational transition.
• Experience leading both technology-focused projects and non-technical business initiatives.

• Proven ability to lead and influence both technical delivery teams and business stakeholders.

• PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification.
