Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking an IT Project Manager in Boston, MA for a 12-month contract with 3 days onsite. A Bachelor's or Master's in IT/CS/Business is required, plus 8-10 years in IT project management. PMP/Agile certs are a plus, with experience leading CRM, ERP, cloud migrations, and data integration initiatives.

Candidates should be proficient with MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or Workday and comfortable using Hybrid methodologies in a complex environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
8-10 years of IT Project Management experience.
PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification is a plus.
Experience leading large IT projects such as CRM, ERP, cloud migrations, infrastructure, and data integration.
Experience with MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow or Workday.

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end IT projects on schedule and within budget.
Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business units.
Define project scope, milestones, risk, and resource plans.
Provide regular status reports and manage communications with sponsors.
Apply hybrid, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies as appropriate.
