Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking an IT Project Manager in Boston, MA for a 12-month contract with 3 days onsite. A Bachelor's or Master's in IT/CS/Business is required, plus 8-10 years in IT project management. PMP/Agile certs are a plus, with experience leading CRM, ERP, cloud migrations, and data integration initiatives.

Candidates should be proficient with MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or Workday and comfortable using Hybrid methodologies in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 8-10 years of IT Project Management experience.
• PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification is a plus.
• Experience leading large IT projects such as CRM, ERP, cloud migrations, infrastructure, and data integration.
• Experience with MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow or Workday.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end IT projects on schedule and within budget.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business units.
• Define project scope, milestones, risk, and resource plans.
• Provide regular status reports and manage communications with sponsors.
• Apply hybrid, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies as appropriate.
