Job summary

K&L Gates is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager in Boston to drive large-scale IT initiatives from planning to delivery. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and timelines, and collaborate with Directors to advance strategic firmwide initiatives.

The role requires 10 years in IT with 5+ years in technical project management, PMP certification, and strong experience with MS Project, MS Office, and Visio. A four-year degree in CS or related field is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with PM responsibilities preferred
• PMP Certification required and strong knowledge in MS Project, MS Office and Visio
• A four year degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field

Responsibilities

• Perform meeting facilitation, issue management, risk management, budget forecasting and reporting
• Adhere to PMO and department Project Methodology across technology initiatives
• Provide strategic advice on design and implementation of IT business processes
• Manage day-to-day project scope and deliverables
• Review team deliverables before client submission
• Develop/update project plans and cost estimates for projects
• Deliver projects within time and cost tolerances
• Direct, motivate and coordinate assigned project staff
