Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with 10+ years of experience leading large, cross-functional technology initiatives, including software development and implementation, using Agile methodologies.

The role is a full-time remote contract (approximately 12 months) with a strong emphasis on stakeholder management, governance, and delivery of complex programs. Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, and Microsoft 365 is preferred; sponsorship is not provided for this position.

Qualifications

10+ years of project management experience leading cross-functional business, technology, and process improvement projects.
PMI PMP certification required.
Experience with Agile planning tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

Lead, plan, and execute cross-functional business, technology, and process improvement projects from initiation to completion.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, and deliverables, proactively identifying and resolving roadblocks and escalating accordingly.
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across teams.
