Job summary

KMRG, LLC is hiring an IT Project Manager to support the United States Capitol Police (USCP) in a hybrid role based in Southwest Washington, DC. The candidate will manage up to 10 IT projects, aligning scope, schedule, and budget within a structured PMO environment.

The role requires a 5+ year track record in IT project leadership, PMP and Agile certifications, and strong stakeholder communication. Telework flexibility is limited by security and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience managing IT projects of varying size and complexity
• PMP certification and an Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, or PSM)

Responsibilities

• Manage up to 10 IT projects of varying size and complexity
• Coordinate scope, schedules, budgets, risks, changes, documentation, and stakeholder communication within a PMO
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, requirements, communications, and agendas
• Apply Agile, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate
• Coordinate milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and completion activities across initiatives
• Prepare clear project status reports, dashboards, and updates for management and stakeholders
• Support PMO governance activities and standard reporting practices
• Maintain visibility into schedules, risks, resources, issues, and deliverables across projects
• Coordinate meetings and communications with government staff and technical teams
• Support timely resolution of questions and dependencies through organized stakeholder coordination
