Job summary

KMRG, LLC is hiring a PMP-certified Project Manager to support the United States Capitol Police (USCP) Office of Information Systems (OIS). You will manage up to 10 IT projects, coordinating scope, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications within a PMO environment.

The role is hybrid, onsite in Southwest Washington, DC, with some telework as approved. Candidates must have PMP and Agile certifications, a related bachelor’s degree, and at least five years of IT project management

Qualifications

• Requires a PMP certification and Agile certification such as CSM, PMI-ACP, or PSM.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage up to 10 IT projects of varying size and complexity.
• Work with USCP OIS staff and stakeholders to align with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Assist stakeholders in defining project scope, objectives, requirements, and delivery expectations.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, requirements, communications, agendas, and other core project documentation.
• Apply Agile, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to project needs.
• Coordinate project milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and completion activities across initiatives.
• Identify, document, track, and support resolution of project risks and issues.
• Manage approved changes to project scope, schedule, and costs with Government stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance and surface concerns for timely action.
• Use tools such as Microsoft Project, Teams Planner, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and dashboards.
• Maintain accurate project records and status information for oversight.
