Job summary

KMRG, LLC (KMRG) is seeking an IT Project Manager to support the United States Capitol Police (USCP) OIS/IRMD. You will manage up to 10 IT projects, coordinating scope, schedules, budgets, risks, changes, and stakeholder communications within a structured PMO environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of IT project management, and PMP plus Agile certifications. Hybrid work with onsite requirements in Southwest Washington, DC 20003, and telework options as approved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing IT projects of varying size and complexity, including enterprise‑level initiatives.
• Current PMP certification and Agile certification such as CSM, PMI-ACP, or PSM.

Responsibilities

• IT Project Planning & Delivery: Manage up to 10 IT projects of varying size and complexity.
• Coordinate with USCP OIS staff to align scope, schedule, and budget.
• Define project scope, objectives, requirements, and delivery expectations.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, communications, and documentation.
• Apply Agile, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
• Coordinate milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and completion activities across initiatives.
• Risk, Change & Performance Management: identify, document, track risks and issues.
• Manage approved changes to scope, schedule, and costs with Government stakeholders.
• Monitor performance and surface concerns for timely action.
• Use MS Project, Teams Planner, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and PM dashboards.
