Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technology initiatives for public sector clients. You will partner with engineering, product, operations, and stakeholders to define scope, milestones, and success criteria.

The role requires PMP, 10+ years in tech PM, and ability to obtain public trust; travel up to 25%. You will develop plans, manage risks, and drive best practices while contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, CS, or related field.
• 10+ years of technical project management or program management experience.
• PMP or equivalent certification
• 3+ years managing technology engagements for State Health and Human Services, preferably Child Welfare.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of PM and Agile methods.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or ADO; cloud/enterprise environments.
• Experience leading large-scale or highly complex technical initiatives.
• Ability to analyze data and create executive-level reporting and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical projects from initiation through completion.
• Define project scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success criteria with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and communication plans.
• Coordinate resources, facilitate meetings, drive issue resolution, and remove blockers.
• Track progress against commitments, manage scope changes, and elevate risks.
• Support process improvement and establish PM best practices and standards.
• Contribute to Business Development efforts.
