Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr IT Project Mgmt Specialist (Finance) in Charlotte to lead and mentor a team of IT project managers, aligning strategies with business objectives and delivering projects on time and budget.

You will collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams, define scope and objectives, and drive continuous improvement in project management processes while ensuring quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project management experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities for a high-performing team.
• Proven track record delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, following PM methodologies.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders to define scope, objectives and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets; track progress.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and allocate resources (internal and external) to ensure success.
• Communicate project status, updates and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes.
