San Bernardino County is recruiting a Senior Business Systems Analyst-Project Lead to join the Human Services - Information, Technology & Support Division. Qualifications

• Three (3) years full time equivalent experience in a production environment performing business systems analysis and one (1) year managing IT projects, including requirements gathering, testing, and process mapping.
• Experience leading IT projects and supervising staff in complex environments.
• Bachelor’s degree required; additional coursework or substitutions may apply as per policy.
• Certifications such as BRMP®, PMP®, ITIL®, COBIT® are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium-to-large and complex IT and business application projects through full lifecycle: initiation, planning, requirements, design, testing, implementation, deployment, transition, and closeout.
• Serve as liaison between business customers, IT teams, vendors, management, and stakeholders.
• Conduct discovery, needs assessments, requirements sessions, workshops, and business process analysis to identify needs and opportunities for technology solutions, automation, and improvement.
• Elicit, analyze, document, validate, and manage business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate UAT, including test scenarios, acceptance criteria, defect tracking, and resolution.
• Prepare and present status updates and recommendations to customers and executive stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
