Everforth Apex Systems in Columbia, SC is seeking an experienced IT leader to serve as the second-in-command within our IT Division as Enterprise Program Manager - Project Lead - Interim Assistant IT Director. This role blends IT operations, cybersecurity, vendor management, and project oversight in a cloud-focused environment.

The successful candidate will guide senior leadership, manage MSP relationships, and drive audits, reporting, and strategic planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 6 years in progressive IT leadership with 3+ years in supervisory roles.
Experience managing IT services through MSPs or outsourced vendors with SLA accountability.
Strong cybersecurity operations experience including incident response and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior member of the IT Division leadership team, helping oversee infrastructure, business applications, and service desk functions.
Coordinate daily IT operations and provide direction, development, and supervision to the IT staff.
Ensure a consistent, high-quality technology experience for all users, from front-line to executive leadership.
Oversee IT services delivered through managed service providers and outsourced vendors, ensuring accountability to SLAs.
Participate as a core member of the Information Security Team, providing leadership in incident response, vulnerability management, risk assessments, and security remediation.
