Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation’s Schwab Technology Services is seeking a Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives, including product development, systems integration, and process reengineering. You will orchestrate complex deliveries with business, operations, and IT stakeholders.

You’ll ensure clear scope, measurable business benefits, and effective risk management while guiding teams and partners through the project life cycle.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of project management experience, managing small to medium projects, with emphasis on product development, systems, and technology environments.
• 3-7 years of experience with project management tools and artifacts, including MS Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, project budgets, change requests, status reports, etc.
• Direct experience mobilizing and leading teams; setting direction and approach; facilitating conflict resolution; identifying/understanding drivers, root cause; seeking guidance or escalating when needed
• Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering projects
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Accountable for planning, orchestrating, and delivering a given strategic initiative including business, operational, and information technology deliverables
• Ensures end results are of the highest caliber with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefit
• Manages small to medium-scale projects sometimes involving multiple internal and external constituents and partners
• Directly manages all aspects of the project life cycle and oversees all phases of a project, escalating issues to portfolio manager as appropriate
