Cardinal Health is seeking a Director of IT Program Management for the Enterprise Infrastructure PMO. This role leads high-impact, organization-wide technology initiatives, bridging strategy and execution, and ensuring accountable governance across functions. Remote nationwide with some travel to HQ in Ohio.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in leading complex programs, strong executive communication, and experience managing vendor relationships. PMP/PgMP certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading complex technology programs, portfolios, or strategic initiatives.
• Ability to influence outcomes across matrixed organizations without direct authority.
• Strong business, financial, and operational acumen.
• Experience with senior executives and high-visibility initiatives.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience managing strategic vendor and consulting relationships.
• Experience with enterprise portfolio management solutions (Planview) preferred.
• PMP, PgMP, or similar certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, enterprise-critical initiatives with executive visibility.
• Take end-to-end ownership of initiative health and outcomes.
• Orchestrate work across business and technology teams, identifying dependencies and risks.
• Establish structure and accountability when processes are evolving.
• Provide leadership across initiatives and direct project/program managers.
• Influence leaders and external partners to drive decisions.
