Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a strategic Director of IT Program Management (Enterprise Infrastructure PMO) to drive high-impact initiatives across the organization. You will partner with senior leaders to translate strategy into actionable programs, manage complex dependencies, and ensure delivery excellence in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with executive sponsors, manage vendor relationships, and advance governance and operating models to improve execution over time.

Qualifications

• Lead complex technology programs with enterprise impact and executive visibility.
• Ability to influence outcomes across matrixed organizations without direct authority.
• Strong business, financial, and operational acumen.
• Experience with vendor/consulting relationships.
• Knowledge of AI, emerging tech and governance models.
• Experience with enterprise portfolio management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, enterprise-critical initiatives with executive visibility and impact.
• Take end-to-end ownership of initiative health, decisions, accountability, and momentum.
• Coordinate across business and technology teams to manage dependencies and risks.
• Establish structure and accountability as processes and ownership evolve.
• Provide leadership to project managers and delivery teams across initiatives.
• Influence executives, delivery teams, and external partners to drive decisions.
• Propose actionable recommendations and solutions, not just issues.
• Communicate initiative health, risks, decisions, and opportunities to senior leaders.
• Strengthen operating models and delivery practices for sustained improvement.
