Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Director of IT Program Management (Enterprise Infrastructure PMO) to drive strategic technology initiatives with executive visibility. You will lead complex programs, align cross-functional teams, and ensure governance, risk control, and timely delivery in a fully remote national role with some travel.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of program leadership, strong stakeholder management, and familiarity with Planview and AI-driven initiatives; PMP/PgMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading complex technology programs, portfolios, or strategic initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to anticipate challenges, influence outcomes, and drive accountability in matrixed organizations.
• Strong business, financial, and operational acumen with senior executives.
• Experience managing enterprise vendor, consulting, and contractual relationships.
• Track record delivering large-scale transformations and AI-enabled initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, enterprise-critical initiatives with executive visibility and impact.
• Own initiative health, drive decisions, accountability, and momentum across teams.
• Coordinate across business and tech orgs, identifying dependencies and risks early.
• Establish structure and governance as processes evolve and ownership shifts.
• Provide leadership to project and program managers across workstreams.
• Influence leaders, delivery teams, and external partners to unblock decisions.
