Caelum Research Corporation in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead a multifaceted IT program, overseeing planning, execution, and evaluation within cost, schedule, and performance targets. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• PMI certification is required.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct program performance, supervise contractor personnel, allocate resources, and coordinate IT activities to meet customer requirements.
• Lead planning and scheduling activities; maintain POA&Ms, cost estimates, and cost/resource management controls.
• Manage change control, issue tracking, risks, and problem tracking; document actions and recommendations for Government review.
• Prepare and deliver Transition Work Plans and Draft Operational Work Plans describing the approach for mission accomplishment.
• Coordinate Government-directed support across applicable PWS task areas to maintain continuity of operations across the contract.
• Manage fiscal and labor resources; monitor resource mix; address cost, schedule, technical, and staffing issues.
• Prepare and deliver Monthly Status Reports, Training Reports, and authorized Trip Reports; meet submission schedules.
• Track mandatory training and certification compliance; coordinate clearance verifications and visit requests; ensure SECRET clearances.
• Ensure services meet Section 508 accessibility, cybersecurity, information assurance, and security requirements; coordinate access to Government data/facilities.
• Monitor quality, schedule adherence, cost control, and management relations; implement corrective actions.
• Represent the program in work groups, meetings, and teleconferences; manage customer expectations and document actions.
• Oversee contractor and subcontractor manpower and cost reporting; coordinate travel as needed.
• Coordinate support during 0630-1800, Monday-Friday; obtain COR approval before travel.
• Apply ITIL and CMMI processes to transition planning, delivery, and performance improvement.
• Use Microsoft Office and Government tools for plans, schedules, cost tracking, and deliverables.
• Maintain working knowledge of supported IT environments and cybersecurity requirements.
