Job summary

Advantech is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to serve as the lead for Army enterprise IT modernization initiatives. You will oversee project execution, engage with government stakeholders, and coordinate with ECMA and technical teams to deliver on schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities include managing RMF/ATO compliance, cyber and information assurance requirements, and Agile release planning. Strong communication skills and DoD governance experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in federal or DoD programs.
• 5+ years supporting enterprise IT systems and modernization initiatives.
• Direct experience leading or supporting AWS cloud migration efforts within Army cARMY environment.
• Experience coordinating with the ECMA.
• DoD 8140/8570 baseline certification (Security+, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent) or ability to obtain within six months.
• Experience applying Agile methodologies, change control, release management, and government IT governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project execution for enterprise IT modernization efforts supporting Army mission systems.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, risk mitigation, and deliverables to ensure successful contract performance.
• Coordinate AWS cloud migration activities within the Army cARMY environment with ECMA and government stakeholders.
• Oversee compliance with DoD ATO, RMF, cybersecurity, and information assurance requirements.
• Lead Agile project management activities including sprint planning, change management, release planning, application testing, and configuration management.
• Develop executive briefings, status reports, project documentation, and performance metrics for government leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, cybersecurity personnel, system administrators, and government stakeholders.
• Ensure protection of PII and mission-critical records in line with DoD policies and federal regulations.
• Support governance activities including IPTs, milestone reviews, risk assessments, and executive decision-making.
• Provide leadership for continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and mission success.
