Job summary

Johnstone Supply seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to lead large-scale ERP upgrades and complex programs in our Cranford, NJ area. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and IT leadership to ensure successful delivery within scope and budget.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic communication, and a track record of delivering enterprise projects in a multi-site environment. Hybrid work with significant on-site presence in Cranford, NJ is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
10+ years of related experience in IT project/program management.
Certification in Agile or PMI (PMP/CAPM/PMI-ACP) preferred.
Experience managing ERP upgrades/implementations.
Strong communication with executives and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Manage large-scale IT projects and complex programs aligned to the Digital Strategy and Strategic Program Roadmap.
Plan, organize, and direct projects with oversight, coordination, and communication across business functions and vendors.
Define scope, goals, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
Oversee resources including internal staff and third parties to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Manage project budgets and leverage Johnstone’s PM methodology with tools (MS Project, Monday.com, Jira, Confluence).
Identify risks/escalations and communicate status to sponsors and stakeholders.
Provide regular status reports to leadership and sponsors; facilitate measurable success criteria.
