As a Senior IT Product Specialist, you will have the opportunity to oversee enterprise Logging tools and support monitoring for network, systems, and applications. You will work closely with infrastructure and application teams, vendor support, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth and timely implementation of solutions. Responsibilities:

1. Estimate logging data trends, auto-scaling requirements, and strategy for Capacity Planning
2. Install and configure ELK, Elastic Search, Logstash, and Grafana for data visualization
3. Design, develop, administer, and deliver Elastic Search / ELK-based reporting solutions
4. Coordinate with Application Development Teams and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely implementation
5. Provide support for ELK, Elastic Search, Logstash, and Grafana

Required Skills / Experience:

1. Proficient in utilizing and supporting IT Monitoring tools in a large enterprise environment
2. Proficient in installing, configuring, and supporting Splunk
3. Experience in Administration and Operations Support of Log Analytics Solutions: ELK, Grafana, InfluxDB, Kafka
4. Familiarity with Remedy for creating, working incident, change, and work order tickets
5. Familiarity with supporting monitoring tools for Linux, AIX, and Windows systems

Desired Skills / Experience:

1. 3 years of experience directly installing, configuring, and supporting Log Analytics Solutions: ELK, Grafana, InfluxDB, Kafka, Splunk
2. Knowledge of Python, PERL, Groovy, or other programming languages common to Log Analytics Solutions
3. Elastic Certified Engineer

Additional Information:

1. A client laptop will be provided. However, the employer will not provide a docking station, extra monitors, etc.
2. If travel is required, pre-approved expenses may be submitted for reimbursement
3. Open to local and non-local but must be located in the US, Preferably in either the Sacramento, Bay Area, or Fairfield areas.
4. The role is primarily remote. There may be an occasion that they would need to meet in person, but this is not common.
