Department Overview

The IT Operations Tools Team oversees Monitoring & Automation tools within PG&E, including planning, design, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and operations. They are rolling out a new Enterprise Network Management System (ENMS) to enhance monitoring capabilities across various network components.

Position Summary

This role supports ENMS Project rollout activities, primarily focusing on Network Monitoring tools, under the guidance of senior product specialists.

• Decommission Devices

Required Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in an Enterprise NOC / IT Operations environment
• 0-1 years of experience supporting and administering Enterprise Monitoring tools in a NOC / IT Operations environment
• High accuracy and attention to detail in repetitive tasks
• Basic knowledge supporting applications on Linux and Windows systems
• Basic understanding of Networks and Servers (Windows, Linux, Unix, AIX)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ticket management systems like BMC Remedy
• Scripting experience with Bash, PERL, or Python
• 1-2 years supporting Monitoring Tools such as Broadcom DxNetOps, Micro Focus Network Node Manager, IBM Tivoli NetCool

Compensation

The hourly rate ranges from $81.00 to $90.00, influenced by factors such as location, skills, education, and experience.
