Job summary

The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst responsible for procurement activities across the MIS Bureau, Court Operations and Human Resources. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Chief Deputy Clerk of Procurement and collaborates with the Budget team on annual planning.

Primary duties include processing procurement requests, maintaining IT-related contracts, obtaining price quotes, and ensuring compliance with budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or similar area.
• Three (3) years of full-time work experience in financial management, accounting, banking, procurement, budget, or related financial field.
• OR high school diploma with five (5) years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs and processes all required procurement requests with the designated liaison within the MIS Bureau, Court Operations and HR Departments.
• Maintains and updates IT-related maintenance proposals and contracts for the MIS Bureau, Court Operations and HR Departments.
• Procures equipment and accessories for the IT Bureau and directs related procurement for Court Operations and HR Departments.
• Monitors funds with the internal budget analyst regarding available funds for IT, Court Operations and HR Departments.
• Researches price quotes from vendors and provides cost-effective recommendations to senior staff.
