Job summary

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in Austin, TX is seeking a Management Analyst IV to lead senior-level organizational analysis and program oversight. You will support IT strategy execution and drive operational improvements within the Information Technology Services division.

The role requires strong data analysis, policy development, and change management skills to guide business processes and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university. Work experience may be substituted for education.
• Two years of experience in policy development, legislative work, strategic planning, or organizational change management.
• Excellent written communication skills as demonstrated via application and resume.

Responsibilities

• Develops new or modify existing operational program policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
• Collects and analyzes data in areas such as workload, operational, business, and managerial practices; staff utilization; and organizational structure and development.
• Monitors and reviews current organizational, procedural, and operational systems for effectiveness, efficiency, and conformance to established guidelines, and collaborates with division management to plan and evaluate internal functions, program activities, business development strategies, and technical processes to ensure business needs are met.
• Implements operational change management plans and drafts corresponding communications.
• Researches new or improved business and management practices for application to agency programs or operations.
