Job summary

The HT Group is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead enterprise software procurement and implementation across multiple departments. You will drive RFI/RFP processes, coordinate vendor evaluations, and manage contracts from initiation through deployment.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience with large, cross-functional projects, strong risk management, and executive communication skills. This role is primarily remote with periodic onsite Austin meetings.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading enterprise software projects.
• Proven ability to manage procurement, RFI/RFP, and vendor selection.
• Strong RAID/risk management and executive reporting.
• Experience with government/public-sector procurement preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple large projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple large-scale enterprise software projects from initiation through implementation and transition.
• Partner with stakeholders across departments to gather, document, and validate requirements.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with schedules, milestones, budgets, and resources.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate procurement activities: RFI/RFPs, vendor questions, and evaluations.
• Communicate status, risks, and recommendations to executives and stakeholders.
• Support contract development and negotiations, including SOWs and pricing.
