Job summary

Dallas County is seeking an IT Manager III to oversee large, complex IT functions, including Applications, Infrastructure, and Security. You will lead multiple cross-functional teams, drive strategic IT initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure service excellence across enterprise systems.

As a senior leader, you will shape IT direction, enforce governance, and partner with county departments to deliver reliable technology solutions that support public services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT-related field.
• Minimum 6 years IT experience with 3+ years supervisory.
• Experience in government IT environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise-wide IT services and large cross-functional teams.
• Drive incident response, system availability and performance improvements.
• Ensure SLAs, governance, risk mitigation, and ITSM improvements.
• Translate business requirements into technology solutions with stakeholders.
• Develop roadmaps, budgets, and vendor management.
