Job summary

Prime Data Centers seeks an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead day-to-day IT services across our corporate office and growing data center portfolio.

Reporting to the VP of IT & Cybersecurity, you will own run-the-business IT operations — service delivery, infrastructure health, patching, backups, and network availability — while leading and developing a team of systems, network, and helpdesk professionals.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of progressive IT infrastructure and operations experience, including 2+ years directly managing or leading technical staff.
• Hands-on depth in Windows & Linux Server administration, Microsoft 365 tenant administration, virtualization, and backup/recovery operations.
• Solid enterprise networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, wireless).
• Experience running or improving ITSM practices with SLA, escalation management, and service reporting.
• Experience supporting multi-site infrastructure, data center deployment, commissioning, or construction-adjacent IT delivery.
• Knowledge of security/compliance operations—patching, vulnerability management, audits (ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2, PCI DSS).
• Ability to travel 30–40% to regional/new-build sites; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the IT Operations team including 1:1s, performance management, growth plans, and hiring.
• Own IT service delivery outcomes in ITSM — SLA performance, queue health, escalation paths, customer satisfaction, and leadership reporting.
• Remain hands-on across core stack: Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, Microsoft 365, Grafana, and enterprise networking as senior escalation point.
• Travel 30–40% to lead IT scope of new data center site deployments and provide go-live support.
• Oversee patching, vulnerability remediation, backups, storage health, capacity planning, and asset lifecycle management.
• Partner with Leadership on Grafana observability and on-call coverage; manage maintenance windows.
• Support security and compliance audits with evidence and controls.
