Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking a Lead IT Operations BRM to drive the partnership between ITD solutions & services and Mill leadership, aligning IT capabilities with business strategy. The role includes stakeholder communication, program oversight, and multi-track delivery.

You will build relationships, develop IT roadmaps, manage escalations, and champion IT initiatives while traveling less than 50% and working remotely for eligible locations near a Smurfit Westrock facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Technology, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment supporting IT and business needs (Pulp/Paper a plus).
• BRM certification and/or Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to drive execution and manage work across ITD functions.
• Thorough understanding of project management techniques and methods.
• Experience building relationships and communicating with stakeholders.
• Positive attitude and ability to drive change.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with key stakeholders in business and IT to drive outcomes and timely project delivery.
• Partner with business leaders to align IT capabilities with operating plans and initiatives.
• Develop IT-driven roadmaps for technology capabilities supporting approved projects.
• Identify opportunities and gaps to improve and grow business operations.
• Conduct regular service reviews with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as the IT liaison for the Business Unit and primary contact for IT service escalations.
