Job summary

Rain, a hypergrowth fintech platform, seeks an IT/Automation Engineer to own end-user support, onboarding, device provisioning, asset lifecycle, and SaaS management across multiple offices. You will design automation, manage security tooling, and lead vendor reviews in a flexible, hybrid US environment.

You will implement Okta workflows, scripting for integrations, and AI-assisted helpdesk flows while helping ensure SOC 2, PCI DSS and GDPR alignment.

Qualifications

3+ years in IT support or automation in startup/scaleup environments.
Hands-on Okta administration with SSO/MFA and Universal Directory.
Scripting and automation in Python and JavaScript for APIs.
Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, JumpCloud and CrowdStrike.
Experience with office networking and AV across multiple offices.
Knowledge of SOC 2, PCI DSS and GDPR controls mapping.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day end user support across hardware, software, accounts and access requests.
Run IT onboarding/offboarding including device provisioning via JumpCloud and Apple Business Manager.
Own IT asset/inventory management across all offices and lifecycle tracking.
Improve and document IT processes, runbooks and onboarding guides.
Manage SaaS licenses, renewals, upgrades and rightsizing spend.
Lead vendor management and vendor security reviews.
Own onsite IT, networking and AV across Rain offices (UniFi, conference rooms, security).
Design/build automation across IT, HR and security; deploy agentic AI workflows.
Architect identity lifecycle automation in Okta and Okta Workflows.
