Job summary

Rain is seeking a proactive IT Support/Automation Engineer to deliver end-user support, onboarding, and asset management across Rain offices. You’ll design automation, manage identity workflows, and help secure endpoints in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IT/support roles, strong Okta administration, and scripting skills in Python/JavaScript. A flexible hybrid work arrangement is available with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT support, IT systems engineering, or automation engineering.
• Hands-on Okta administration experience including SSO, MFA, and Universal Directory.
• Scripting/automation in Python and JavaScript for API interaction.
• Familiarity with SaaS & endpoint stacks (Google Workspace, Slack, JumpCloud, CrowdStrike).
• Hands-on experience with office networking and AV (UniFi).
• Understanding of SOC 2, PCI DSS and GDPR controls.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day end user support across hardware, software, accounts, and access requests.
• Run IT onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning via JumpCloud and Apple Business Manager.
• Manage IT assets/inventory across offices and lifecycle from procurement to retirement.
• Improve and document IT processes, runbooks, and onboarding guides; reduce recurring tickets.
• Manage SaaS licenses, renewals, upgrades, and spend optimization.
• Lead vendor management and security reviews; negotiate pricing/terms.
• Oversee onsite IT, networking, AV, UniFi, conference rooms, and security systems.
