Job summary

casavi GmbH is seeking a Senior IT Manager to own IT operations, SaaS governance, and automation across locations. The role offers high autonomy, driving IT processes, security foundations, and infrastructure for a hybrid workforce.

You will redesign onboarding/offboarding, implement IAM automation, and manage hardware lifecycle with Hexnode and NinjaOne while collaborating with German and English-speaking teams.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience in IT operations or workplace IT at scale.
• Experience with MDM/RMM tools like Hexnode and NinjaOne.
• Strong SaaS governance, IAM, and access management capabilities.
• Experience building IT structures from scratch is a plus.
• Fluent in German and English (C1+ / Bilingual daily use).
• Ability to manage multiple IT projects with a process-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own IT operations, SaaS governance, and hardware management for casavi.
• Lead automation initiatives and internal tooling to scale operations.
• Optimise vendor contracts and lifecycle management for devices.
• Oversee 1st/2nd level employee IT support across locations.

• Support hybrid/remote work with secure network access and infrastructure.

About the role

casavi is growing and our IT is growing with us. As Senior IT Manager, you will take full ownership of our IT operation, from SaaS governance and hardware management to process automation and internal tooling. You will build on a solid foundation, improve what exists, and put in place the structures we need to scale. This is a high-autonomy role with broad scope - ideal for someone who thrives on variety, takes initiative, and wants to leave a real mark on how a company operates day to day.

Your mission

• SaaS & Tool Governance:Take ownership of our full SaaS portfolio from licence management and access control to evaluating new tools and keeping everything documented and well-governed
  AI & Process Automation:Identify and implement AI-powered solutions to automate internal processes and improve productivity across casavi. Support teams in evaluating and using AI tools effectively and establish practical guidelines for their secure and responsible use

• Hardware & Contract Management:Optimise vendor and hardware contracts, track renewals, and ensure cost-effective lifecycle management for Mac and Windows devices using Hexnode and NinjaOne

• Employee IT Support (1st/2nd level):Handle hardware procurement, device setup, lifecycle management, and internal tickets, ensuring fast, reliable support for all employees across locations

• On- & Offboarding Redesign:Audit our current on- and offboarding processes, identify the gaps, and build a scalable, well-documented process, including identity and access management (IAM) automation

• IT Research & Innovation:Proactively evaluate new tools, technologies, and AI-powered solutions that can improve internal productivity and operational efficiency

• Security Foundations:Enforce security standards (MFA, Least Privilege, VPN) and contribute to hardening our IT environment

• IT Infrastructure:Manage office IT infrastructure (Wi-Fi, meeting rooms, printers) and ensure secure network access for hybrid and remote working

Your profile

• Solid hands-on experience in IT operations, system administration, or workplace IT, ideally in a scale-up or SaaS environment

• Confident working with MDM and RMM tools (ideally Hexnode and NinjaOne) and managing a diverse hardware environment across macOS and Windows

• Strong understanding of SaaS tool governance, IAM, and access management, including hands-on experience with tools like Google Workspace, Jira, and Confluence and ideally experience building these structures from scratch

• A process-builder mindset: you do not just fix problems, you design systems that prevent them from recurring

• Proactive, structured, and self-organised, able to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously

• Solid grasp of IT security principles including SaaS audits, MFA and Least Privilege enforcement, and network and VPN management

• Fluent in both German (C1+) and English, as you will support employees in both languages daily

• Practical experience evaluating and implementing AI tools to improve internal workflows and productivity
