Job summary

Santa Barbara Honda in Marysville, OH, is seeking an experienced HR/Admin IT Unit Manager to streamline operations and align IT activities with business goals. The role partners with senior leaders to implement cost-effective technology solutions across HR, administration, time & attendance, talent management, and digital workflows.

You will lead strategic IT initiatives, manage budgets, and drive transformation programs within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems / IT, Electronics or related STEM field.
At least 10 years of IT experience in core business systems, preferably enterprise in manufacturing.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication skills.
Experience in budgeting, vendor management, and service delivery governance.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Department Manager to shape and advance strategic IT priorities for HR/Admin and related enterprise systems.
Build and lead high-performing IT teams with coaching, mentoring and accountability.
Deliver the HR/Admin Unit project portfolio on time, within budget, and with defined business value.
Govern and optimize enterprise HR/Admin platforms and roadmaps with stakeholders across North America and Honda Global.
Define priorities, manage service delivery, and drive continuous improvement in HR and administration IT processes.
