Job summary

Zinda Law Group, PLLC is seeking an experienced IT Manager in Austin to own and manage the firm’s technology ecosystem. You will oversee infrastructure, security, and software across the organization, coordinating with IT support and driving strategy from planning through execution.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong project management, and a proven ability to implement systems that improve efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in IT operations, systems, or infrastructure with a track record of managing projects and implementing systems.
• Experience managing company-wide IT environments including hardware, software, and systems infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of security, networks, databases, cloud-based tools, and business software platforms.
• Experience evaluating and implementing software solutions and managing vendor relationships.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills with the ability to analyze complex problems.
• Exceptional project management skills and ability to drive initiatives to completion.
• Strong attention to detail in system configuration, permissions, and data accuracy.
• Ability to operate strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy new IT systems, software, and services that meet firm needs.
• Manage tickets and hardware/software issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor and evaluate performance of technology systems for reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Define and own IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.
• Own and manage the firm's software ecosystem across departments.
• Manage IT vendors, licenses, and contracts for efficiency and cost control.
• Lead implementation of new systems and tools with full configuration and adoption.
• Design and enforce security protocols, including access controls and permissions.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop tailored technology solutions that improve efficiency.
• Oversee IT operations and internal ticketing to improve response times and service quality.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware/software/system issues and escalate when needed.
• Standardize hardware setup, onboarding/offboarding, and system configurations.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements or automation.
• Lead IT-related projects from planning to full execution.
