Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC seeks a process engineering specialist to ensure new processes and equipment meet global standards and URS/IFA designs. You'll work with local and global teams to qualify equipment and drive ramp-up.

You will improve reliability of process control systems, lead projects, manage budgets, and mentor colleagues while applying cLEAN and Six Sigma methods to deliver compliant, efficient manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/related field with 5+ years of process-based manufacturing experience.
• Knowledgeable in SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL databases, Historian.

Responsibilities

• Work with local & global project teams to ensure design compliance with local & global standards.
• Develop interface agreements and align requirements with equipment vendors.
• Develop and implement plans to maintain and improve process control systems.
• Schedule and execute plans in coordination with manufacturing schedules.
• Assist with developing and managing expense budgets for maintaining and improving process control systems.
• Coach and train colleagues and stakeholders in relevant areas.
• Utilize cLEAN/C Six Sigma methodologies for problem solving and project management.
