Responsibilities

• Provide complex and sensitive management and programmatic support to a large department; oversee administrative functions including budget.
• Supervise clerical and technical staff; participate in staff selection and development.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures; assist in contract negotiations.
• Coordinate with Human Resources and Finance on recruitment, staffing budgets and position control.
• Direct data collection and budget documentation; develop budget recommendations and reports.
• Plan and conduct studies with organizational impact; prepare technical and analytical reports.
• Coordinate inter-departmental meetings and serve as department liaison with consultants and public.
