Job summary

Contour is seeking a Senior System Administrator to own IT infrastructure and security across our remote operations. You will manage Google Workspace, Slack, HubSpot, Rippling and the LMS, oversee identity, device fleets, networks, CCTV and access control from India with collaboration from Melbourne.

Qualifications

Four or more years in systems administration, systems engineering or senior IT support.
Administrator‑level Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 at a few hundred users or more.
Identity and access as a design discipline: SSO, MFA, an identity provider, and least privilege applied by default.
Security you owned, with evidence: hardening, access reviews, patching, endpoint protection, and at least one security incident you handled from detection to write‑up.

Responsibilities

Take the L2 and L3 escalations and stop them coming back.
Design identity and access: RBAC, group‑driven permissions, MFA/2SV, periodic access reviews.
Run the campus networks, CCTV and door access from India; manage UniFi and network segmentation.
Own the security posture end to end: endpoint protection, phishing defence, conditional access, DKIM/SPF/DMARC.
