Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer for an on-site role in the Ventura County area, CA. You will manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and network security while ensuring compliance with government security requirements.

Responsibilities include administering cloud services, hybrid infrastructure, and backups, with opportunities to support audits and export-control programs. This role demands hands-on expertise and on-site availability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or a similar hands-on IT role.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 GCC or GCC High and hybrid Active Directory.
• Knowledge of virtualization, enterprise networking, firewalls, and backup platforms.
• Experience supporting CMMC Level 2, NIST 800-171, or ITAR-controlled environments.
• Ability to work on-site in the Camarillo area and meet export control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, in a government cloud environment.
• Manage Active Directory, user access, group policies, virtual servers, and hybrid systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPN access, and other network security tools.
• Strengthen security controls, address vulnerabilities, and support audits.
• Maintain backup and recovery systems and test recovery procedures.
• Document systems and work with teams across the manufacturing operation.
