Job summary

VCCU is seeking an Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the organization’s infrastructure across servers, storage, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and networks onsite at Ventura, CA. You will work with Cyber Security Operations to ensure robust, scalable systems and collaborate with teams across the Credit Union.

The role requires 4+ years in enterprise infrastructure, experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls), and a degree in CS/IT.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, and other cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in implementing security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management on updates during infrastructure tech rollout.
• Evaluate and select technology vendors, platforms, and tools.
• Manage infrastructure and Enterprise Applications projects; provide Tier 1/2 support.
• Design and maintain servers, storage, cloud platforms, networks, and software solutions.
• Administer security functions per policies and frameworks with Cyber Security Ops.
• Collect and monitor infrastructure data for utilization and performance.
• Prepare long-range infrastructure plans and project scheduling.
• Update procedural documentation and manage system configurations.
• Resolve infrastructure, system, and network issues reported by users.
• Provide secondary support for Help Desk and escalate when needed.
