Job summary

Velaura AI is seeking a seasoned Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations to own IT and infrastructure end to end: the hybrid compute environment our designers depend on, the security program that protects our design IP, the systems that support development, and the team that runs all of it. You'll lead our existing IT team and grow it.

We are looking for someone senior enough to set a 12–24 month architecture direction and hands-on enough to be in the middle of all major IT decisions such as

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT infrastructure leadership roles.
• Experience scaling IT environments during rapid growth.
• Strong Linux and engineering‑compute background with major cloud experience.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and optimize infrastructure for compute‑intensive workloads.
• Own CI/CD at scale, self‑hosted runners, and multi‑arch builds.
• Architect and operate Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, and on‑prem infra, storage, backups.
• Lead IP security program, audits, and compliance readiness (SOC 2/ISO 27001).
• Oversee IT infrastructure and facilities tech, with secure remote access.
• Build onboarding/offboarding with role‑based access and SLAs.
