The Senior IT Infrastructure Lead provides technical and people leadership for infrastructure strategy, architecture, demand planning, provider coordination, and readiness across Siemens Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products North America. You will guide scalable, secure, and supportable IT infrastructure for new factories, site expansions, moves, and production‑critical operations while leading a small team of experienced infrastructure professionals.

We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Lead. This position will be based in the Alpharetta/Peachtree Corners GA, or Dallas–Fort Worth TX area.
You will make a difference with the following duties:
  • Infrastructure Strategy and Architecture – Lead regional strategy and architecture for WAN, LAN, server, cloud, hybrid, factory infrastructure, and IT/OT connectivity, translating enterprise standards into practical solutions for Electrical Products North America.
  • Factory Growth and Readiness – Direct infrastructure requirements for greenfield and brownfield factories, expansions, moves, and major cutovers, including capacity, circuits, routing, redundancy, failover, bandwidth, cybersecurity, and supportability.
  • Demand and Delivery Leadership – Own infrastructure demand, ordering, lifecycle, and investment planning; coordinate technical acceptance criteria and delivery while retaining accountability for requirements, quality, and completion.
  • People Leadership – Lead, coach, and develop assigned infrastructure professionals across connectivity, cybersecurity, server, cloud, and related infrastructure domains; establish priorities, technical expectations, development plans, and accountability for delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership – Serve as the regional infrastructure point of contact for internal project teams and corporate IT groups, including network, server, workstation, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and managed service providers.
  • Technology and Business Guidance – Evaluate and recommend infrastructure technologies based on scalability, resilience, performance, cybersecurity, supportability, complexity, and cost; communicate risks, impacts, and budget implications to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Infrastructure Resilience – Guide technical response to infrastructure-related major incidents, recovery, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions, while advancing standards, documentation, knowledge sharing, and provider accountability across regional sites.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:

    • WAN, LAN, networking, server, cloud, hybrid infrastructure, and IT/OT connectivity.
  • 3+ years experience with:
    • Infrastructure planning and technical architecture reviews for greenfield or brownfield factories, site expansions, moves, or other production‑critical operations.
    • Leading technical professionals and directing cross‑functional teams, global technology groups, managed service providers, or vendor‑managed delivery.
    • Evaluating scalability, resilience, performance, cybersecurity, supportability, cost, and technical risk and communicating recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, distribution, healthcare, or other production‑critical environments.
