Job summary

GDH is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise server and virtualization infrastructure, with a focus on Cisco UCS and VMware technologies. You will lead large-scale infrastructure projects, support Unified Communications, and architect hybrid cloud integrations with Microsoft Azure to ensure high availability, security, and scalable performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure engineering with Cisco UCS and server virtualization.
• Hands-on with Cisco UCS B-Series/C-Series/X-Series and Fabric Interconnects.
• Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter/vSAN).
• Experience integrating Azure hybrid cloud with on-prem infrastructure.
• Familiarity with NetApp ONTAP and FlexPod architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain on-prem Cisco UCS infrastructure via Intersight, UCS Manager, and UCS Central.
• Architect and support hybrid cloud environments with Azure VMs, Storage, and ACI.
• Lead large-scale infrastructure projects across datacenters and migrations.
• Configure and optimize VMware environments for performance and high availability.
• Support Unified Communications systems including Cisco CUCM, Unity, UCCX, and PCCE.
• Develop infrastructure standards, templates, and deployment documentation.
• Design and implement backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery for extensive servers.
• Improve visibility with Intersight, Active IQ, SolarWinds, and Splunk.
• Mentor team members and coordinate cross-team communication.
• Manage vendor relationships and hardware support for FlexPod, Cisco MDS, Nexus 9K.
