Pixel Machinery, a Boston-based technology consultancy, seeks a Senior IT Implementation Technician to own end-to-end client software rollouts and act as the technical escalation point for the team.

The role focuses on implementing identity and security platforms (Okta, JumpCloud, 1Password) and mentoring junior technicians, with a strong emphasis on planning, configuration, testing, and rollout.

Qualifications

• Experienced IT support professional who thrives at Tier 2/3 level.
• Owns software implementations from kickoff to rollout with minimal oversight.
• Deep familiarity with identity and security tooling (Okta, JumpCloud, Entra ID).
• Clear communicator translating technical work for clients and stakeholders.
• Mentors less experienced technicians to raise support quality.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end implementation of client software platforms and projects.
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for escalated issues.
• Act as technical escalation point for the broader team.
• Plan, configure, and rollout new tools and integrations with clients.
• Document processes and knowledge to strengthen runbooks and playbooks.
• Lead identity/security platform implementations (Okta, JumpCloud, 1Password).
• Diagnose and resolve complex escalations across networks, cloud, and identity systems.
• Design migration/integration plans between client systems and new tools.
