Job summary

1Password is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join the IT Engineering — Device Infrastructure Services team. This role guides complex device infrastructure initiatives from concept to delivery, focusing on endpoint management and secure, scalable enterprise solutions.

The ideal candidate will be technically strong in cloud-hosted endpoint management, with excellent communication to collaborate across teams and stakeholders, and a user-centered approach to rollout design and end-user

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical work experience in an IT role with cloud-first endpoint management.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD workflows for device management at enterprise scale.
• Senior level experience with Apple MDM platforms (Iru).
• Scripting abilities in Bash and other shells for endpoint automation.
• Experience implementing device trust principles including phishing-resistant authentication and conditional access.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of large-scale device infrastructure projects with broad impact across the organization.
• Drive IT Change Management initiatives related to endpoint management, software patching, and fleet operations.
• Manage and administer cloud-based Apple MDM platforms (Iru), including configuration profiles and policy management.
• Apply AI tooling to infrastructure problems and determine where it should be used next.
• Own third-party software patching workflows with minimal disruption to employees.
• Design rollouts with a strong user experience focus and proactive communication.
• Contribute to best practices, policies, and procedures for the Device Infrastructure Services team.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
• Be available for occasional 24/7 on-call shifts to ensure uninterrupted support.
