Job summary

DCAS Information Technology is seeking a Community Coordinator to support inventory and asset management across city agencies. The role focuses on maintaining the asset lifecycle, accurate inventory records, and compliance with audit requirements.

You will perform physical inventories, coordinate asset distribution, and assist with end-of-life processes, including decommissioning and auctioning, while partnering with auditors and remote sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience managing IT asset lifecycles and audits.
• Ability to reconcile inventory records with physical counts.
• Experience working with auditors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manages the lifecycle of IT assets within the inventory system.
• Maintains auditable inventory records and controls.
• Assesses asset health and ensures alignment with business needs.
• Reconciles IT capital asset purchases annually.
• Conducts periodic physical inventories of all assets.
• Distributes IT assets and ensures proper tagging.
• Coordinates end-of-life and auctioning of decommissioned assets.
• Coordinates with auditors for annual inventory audits.
• Visits remote sites to verify assets as needed.
